Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the M2819 platform (“M2819,” “we,” “us”), a product of Cortext IO LLC, located at 188 Highland Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35242. By creating an account or using M2819, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. Organization owners and administrators are responsible for the users they invite and the roles they assign. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

You are responsible for the data you collect through M2819, including personal information of event registrants, volunteers, and participants. You agree to use this data only for the purposes of managing your organization's events and ministry activities, and to comply with all applicable data protection laws.

When collecting information about children under 13, you confirm that you have obtained parental consent. Parents or guardians act as the registrant; children never interact with the platform directly. M2819 minimizes collection of children's data to name, age/grade, and dietary/medical information necessary for event safety.

M2819 offers a Free plan (1 concurrent event, all features included), a Ministry plan ($19.95/month or $199/year), and a Church plan ($69.99/month or $699/year), plus optional add-ons (Event Booster at $9.99/month; Additional Campus at $29.99/month on the Church plan). Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice. M2819 charges no transaction fees on any tier. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

M2819 does not accept or process payments from event registrants. Registrant payments, where an event requires them, are handled directly between the registrant and the hosting organization and are outside M2819's systems. M2819 processes only subscription payments from the organizations that subscribe to our platform. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS standards; M2819 does not store payment card data. Stripe's standard processing fees apply to subscription transactions and are not set by or shared with M2819. Any registrant payments you record from other sources (e.g., cash, check, Venmo, Zelle) are tracked in a ledger only and are not processed by M2819.

Registration and participant data is retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your organization's data at any time by contacting support. Certain audit records are retained for up to 7 years where required for security and compliance purposes.

You agree not to use M2819 for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations, not to attempt to access other organizations' data, and not to interfere with the operation of the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to accounts that violate these Terms.

M2819 is provided “as is.” While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will provide reasonable notice before planned maintenance.

Disclaimer of Warranties.M2819 is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any data will be accurate, complete, or preserved without loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.

Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will M2819 or Cortext IO LLC, or its officers, members, employees, or service providers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the platform, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid to M2819 in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Carve-outs.Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or a party's indemnification obligations. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend, revoke, or terminate your access to M2819 at any time and for any reason, with or without cause, including but not limited to material breach of these Terms. Upon termination you may request an export of your organization's data within a reasonable period.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Alabama, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time, and any changes become effective when posted. We will notify account owners of material changes and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
